Donations

We can take unwanted everyday items from household to business.
See below to see what we cannot take.
Donations can be made with out an appointment between 10am and 1pm, after which please contact us to make sure we have room. If you would like to donate large items of furniture please contact us.
Collections can be made, we ask as much as possible that items are easy for the elves to collect, without any risk to injury. Outside is best, or as near the front door as you can manage. 

House Clearance

Talk to us if you need help with clearing yours or a loved ones home. We do not normally charge, however in certain situations we do. We can also help with Hoarding Disorders, and may be able to get help with funding to cover the cost.

Recycling

We are partnered with Terracycle and are currently running the following programmes
Plastic/ film sweet wrappers
Multi use food containers (not single use)
Plastic toys
Laundry Detergent items
Dental items (not Electric Toothbrushes)
Batteries
Printer ink cartridges

Food Cycle

We are exploring ways to reduce food waste in our town, more to come on this exciting project soon, we need volunteers, if you are interested, please speak with the team

The Recycling Shop Makes

A perfect place to buy planet friendly gifts!

Local crafters and makers can sell in the shop alongside the talented Elves that work in The Shop, we chare 10% commission and ask that makers promote the shop and all we do. Pop in or email to chat. 

Bring a Plant Leaf a Plant

Over the summer months, bring your unwanted seeds, seedlings or plants and swap for seedlings that others have donated, saving waste and sharing resources. Donations for plants can be made if you do not have a swappable plant.

Party Hire

We offer a community lending library were you can borrow various items including vintage tea sets, mismatched plates, cutlery, cake stands and so much more. Pop in the shop to speak to us, or send us a message.
